Community Safety Team Member

Full-Time / Part-TimeToronto, ON (Various Sites)

Join our frontline safety teams embedded in shelters, harm reduction centres, and affordable housing sites. You'll provide trauma-informed safety support, de-escalation, and harm reduction assistance.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with vulnerable populations (shelters, harm reduction, social services)
  • Strong de-escalation and conflict resolution skills
  • Overdose Prevention, Recognition and Response (OPARR) certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Worker Health & Safety Awareness (WHSA) training preferred
  • Lived experience is valued and welcomed

Crisis Intervention Specialist

Respond to mental health crises, overdose situations, and escalating conflicts with compassion and expertise. Work alongside clinical staff to ensure the safety of clients and team members.

Requirements:

  • Overdose Prevention, Recognition and Response (OPARR) certified
  • Experience in mental health or addictions settings
  • Worker Health & Safety Awareness (WHSA) trained
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Team Lead / Site Supervisor

Lead and mentor a team of community safety workers at one or more sites. Manage scheduling, incident reporting, and client relationships while maintaining our trauma-informed standards.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in community safety, social services, or related field
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Strong understanding of harm reduction and trauma-informed care
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's licence an asset
